H2O2 – is water
(H2O) with an extra Oxygen atom – also known as Oxygenated water, or
by its scientific name: Hydrogen peroxide. H2O2 is a naturally
occurring molecule found in rain & snow, and produced by fruit, vegetables and animals, including the
Rainwater is the most common source of H2O2. When raindrops (H2O) fall through ozone (O3) in the air created by thunderstorms, the water molecules pick up extra Oxygen atoms and form H2O2, reducing the ozone from O3 back to O2.
